Crew was awesome. Gave us easy directions to get to the correct location. Very informative & laid back. The two guys we had truly enjoyed their job. We also benefited from a perfersonal photographer riding along for her photos with a payment but it is worth it for live action video & shots you will never forget!

A Thrilling and Unforgettable Experience!
If you’re visiting Oahu, Haleiwa Shark Tours is an absolute must-do! From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about what they do. The boat ride out was smooth and scenic, and the safety briefing made us feel completely at ease before jumping in.

Once in the water, we were surrounded by sharks within minutes — calm, majestic, and truly awe-inspiring creatures. The cage felt very secure, and we never felt unsafe. The crew shared fascinating facts about shark behavior and conservation efforts, which made the experience even more meaningful.

This was hands-down one of the best adventures of our trip. Seeing these animals up close in their natural environment was something we’ll never forget. Highly recommend Haleiwa Shark Tours for anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

This was an amazing experience. On the way out to the area they take you shark diving, we saw a ton of dolphins which started to follow the boat and jump out right near us. We found a ton of sharks pretty quickly, then they divided the people on the boat into two groups who got turns in the cage while the other group watched from above. Captain Derek was super friendly and knowledgeable about sharks and talked with us while we waited for the other group to spend time in the cage.

Actually being in the cage was not scary at all. They give you a snorkel and goggles so you can sit right below the surface and watch all the sharks as they circle around your cage. The cage also has two sets of bars to hold onto with your hands and a foot bar so you can easily stay in position while you are under the water. If you don't like to snorkel or get tired of doing so, you can also just take off the snorkel and take deep breaths, then look under the water at the sharks with the goggles.
