Deluxe snorkeling tour The Captain and crew on this tour were first class. They were well trained, polite and customer centered.
Snorkeling was good and safe as there was mandatory safety instruction, snorkeling instruction lifeguards in the water.
The food options were simple but well considered and well prepared.
Great tour!

Don’t miss this!! The body glove snorkel tour is amazing! The food is great, the staff is so kind and helpful, and the snorkeling is perfect! We swam with dolphins right in the harbor where we stopped. I was able to see them underwater! Don’t miss this trip on the Big Island!

Great way to spend 4 hours on the water + snorkeling (We actually visited in Nov 2021 but the site did not allow me an option to select the year 2021)

This review has been long overdue! We went and had a great time. I highly recommend this if you like snorkeling in a group setting.

We took the early morning option. We boarded around 7:30 and the cruise promptly started at 8 am. Along the way, we were served a welcome drink.

We cruised for about an hour with beautiful views of the island. We anchored at a secluded place close to the shore. My group decided to go snorkeling but some people also decided to chill on the boat.

The boat was also equipped a couple of slides to jump into the ocean. That was a lot of fun! Some of the kids had a great time with the slides and so did we!

The crew was helpful and kept a close eye on beginners like me during the snorkeling, which put beginners like me at ease. We did see some sea life but I've been to better locations for snorkeling before.

We were anchored for about 2 hrs and then we headed back. It was a total of about 4 hrs.

Great tour! My nephew had been on the Body Glove snorkel tour a few times and suggested we all go during a family reunion week in Hawaii. Everything he told me about it was true - the crew is incredibly helpful, engaging, and informative. We had a big group and a few times had to revise our booking as people were added or dropped from our list. The communication was great, and there was no difficulty modifying our reservation. The trip itself was wonderful - saw spinner dolphins on our way to a nice reef with good snorkeling. The boat also had a water slide and jumping deck which all of the kids enjoyed as well as rafts, inner tubes, lily pads and paddle boards! Safety is a priority and there were lifeguards watching us from the boat and in the water during our time off the boat. Breakfast and lunch were very good, especially the burgers cooked on the boat's grill. Very impressed by the entire experience, and the kindness and knowledge of the Captain and his crews. Book it - you'll love it!

Thumbs up from a long time local. My wife and I live in Kailua Kona and have seen a lot of large snorkel boats over the years take out tourists to see our beautiful reefs and shoreline. By far the best of those is the Body Glove. The boat is clean, roomy, there is plenty of shade, and the crew are top notch. We were greeted by Captain Bob as we boarded the vessel and Jacob took special care of us when on the boat or in the water. He was like our bud by the end of the day. Captain Bob served up plenty of stories as we saw certain features on the coastline and always sounded like he was enjoying the ride along with the rest of us. Five Stars.

Great Excursion On A 3 Level Catamaran We purchased the 4.5 hour catamaran snorkeling excursion on the big island of Hawaii for our 2 daughters, ages 29 and 17. They absolutely loved it and had a fabulous time! They loved the slide, diving board and especially that they had the opportunity to paddle board. They were taken to a beautiful bay area only accessible by boat and the water was gorgeous. They opted not to eat the breakfast and lunch to avoid getting sea sick, but all the other amenities and the staff were wonderful. Definitely worth the money!

5 adults, 3 kids, and a 2 month old Deluxe Snorkel & Dolphin Watch
Thursday, November 24 2022 @ 8:00am - 12:30pm

We had an amazing experience and I can't believe it took me this long to write this review. I searched for weeks for the perfect tour since I was taking my 2 month old. We have done snorkeling tours in the past but with 4 kids we needed one that was safe, clean, and still had a chance to go out into the water.

The staff was extremely helpful. I was adamant that I could take all the kids in the water and they safely assisted all of us, even my 2 month old as they held him for me while I got on the paddleboard. My husband thought it couldn't happen, but it did! So thankful.

Food was amazing and we were stuffed from the beginning to the end of the trip.
It was windy, which was expected so we were prepared.
I was able to bring my stroller on board.

Just make sure you get there 45 minutes early so you have time to walk to the location. We were running!!

Amazing activity for a family with teens! Our family, especially our teens, had a great time on this cruise! It was so well organized and safe. The staff were really informative and fun. Our captain was captain Bob and he shared some cool spots on the coast with us. Mikhail was the first to help us and got us some juice and water. We got tips and information from Kyler about other snorkelling spots and local animals. Maddison gave us our safety talk and watched out for us while we were in the water. When a child fell off a paddle board (with their parent) she dove in right away to check they were okay. Cosmo got the beginner snorkelers orientated to the equipment which my husband attended (and I should have because my snorkel needed some adjusting) Getting in and out of the water was easy because there was always at least 2 staff members there to help. I can't remember the name of the person who helped my family get in & out (May have been Chris? He had cool green hair) He made sure our equipment was on right and fixed what needed to be fixed. The snorkelling was fantastic for us! It was wavier than we were used to but they offered life vests and pool noodles. My older teens and I didn't use anything and had a great time. We actually saw a sea turtle! My oldest saw an eel far down in the reef.
On the way there we saw humpback whales and learned a bit about their journey and what we were likely seeing (2 males vying for a female) But it was absolutely amazing when we saw dolphins! And one was a baby! They ended up racing in front of our boat and then leaping in the waves in our wake. This activity was worth it and I hope that I can go on it again one day.

Roll of the Dice... We have been on cruises with this company many times. That is why we selected them during our most recent vacation to the Big Island.

Our snorkel cruise was originally scheduled for Tuesday of the week of our trip. Weather conditions caused a cancellation. We rebooked the last day we could, hoping the ocean would calm down a bit.

The crew was nice. Ariel was the most attentive. One of the male crew was trying to get phone numbers from the young ladies on the cruise. Seemed a couple of notches short of professional.

The music was in poor taste and it was very loud. This has historically been a very family friendly outing, we expect PG music. Bad, grating music was a huge negative for us. In the past, they always played island themed, delightful music. Not this time.

One of the things we have loved about our previous Body Glove cruises has been the hot meal served after snorkeling. Imagine our disappointment to have cold food instead of hot. Cold cheeseburgers were a huge disappointment.

One can get a cold deli sandwich on any of the many tours offered by other providers.

Body Glove can't control the weather, or the water conditions. They can control their staff, the music they play and the quality of the food they serve. The music and the food were very disappointing to us.

It is impossible to articulate how badly I wish we had an experience deserving of a better rating.
