Great experience in shark infested waters!! Awesome experience! Had my wife, son and his girlfriend joining me on this trip. With great weather and tons of sharks to watch from the boat and with snorkelling gear in the cage. The young as well as my wife and me enjoyed it a lot!! Team was really professional and service minded!

Highly recommended!!!

Amazing Family Experience!! Seven of our family ages 6 to 65 cruised early morning July 17th with the crew aboard North Shore Shark Adventures. Our grandson at 10 was our youngest diver, and at 65, I was the oldest. The dive was an amazing experience we saw and recorded several sharks, including a couple pretty large ones, and other marine life with our GoPro. My grandson called the trip the highlight of our 12 day visit to Hawaii, and I’d have to agree. The crew aboard our boat was professional, friendly, fun and helpful; and most importantly, safety before, during, and after the dive was their first priority. Our sincere thanks go out to the entire crew at North Shore for providing the opportunity to create these long lasting family memories!

5⭐️ Family Experience An AMAZING family experience! (2 adults, 3 teens, & 1 child) Our family loved doing this and it was one of the best things we did during our 2 weeks in HI! Our youngest daughter became very scared once she was in the cage, but the captain Adriana was amazing and talked her through it. Calming her down and she actually ended up enjoying the experience. We were so impressed with her and the crewmate Mateus. We would recommend this to anyone without hesitation! 5️’s

What an Experience!!!! This tour was awesome! We had a choppy day in the ocean with rough seas, which made the cage more challenging; however, the boat crew was very professional, big on safety and ensured our experience was top notch! Additionally, if you paid for a video of your experience, the crew ensured you imported all videos to your phone. Easier with an iPhone!

Awesome, up close with sharks in the cage, would go again for sure!

A great experience with my shark loving daughter My 10 year old daughter has been asking to swim with sharks and this was as close as I am going to get. It was super easy to make a reservation online. We opted to pay for the video footage. We showed up early and were placed on the earlier boat. There are bathrooms you can use prior to getting on the boat, for women- there are no doors on the bathroom stalls.

We got on the boat and were given some instructions. Caleb and Leon were great. I think it was about 3 miles out to were the Galapagos sharks were. They started circling as soon as we got there. It was super easy to get in the cage and I never felt nervous for my safety. My daughter has never snorkeled before and said she wished she would have wore her own goggles. A friend let me borrow her GoPro, while I'm thankful for the videos and pictures, I wish I would have kept my hands free so I could move around more. There are bars inside that you can stand on or hold onto. You do get jostled around a little bit but it wasn't too bad.

I felt more nauseas after getting back on the boat and it looked like other people did too. So I would recommend taking Dramamine or another similiar medication.

If you have an iPhone, they can transfer you the videos immediately. Caleb said that he would transfer me the videos via a Google Drive after their last tour. He was true to his word, I received an email from him stating that they were loading and an approximate wait time. And then I received another email with the Google Drive when it was uploaded.

True once in a lifetime experience If you love sharks, but are afraid of them, this is your best chance to view them with you in the ocean. The company very generously refunded one of our divers because of a medical emergency that occurred after booking. The boat ride was comfortable. We received brief safety instructions. The first group had 6 climb off the boat and down into the cage. The water can be choppy, so you need to stabilize yourself on the cage bars. You wear a snorkeling mask, so you can see underwater. Once you adjust, the underwater world comes to you! So many Galapagos sharks glide right by you. You spend 15 mins in the water; then the second group gets in the cage. Our post-op patient still rode in the boat and got amazing views of the sharks on the surface! We felt safe at all times.

Tips-wear polarized sun glasses for the best view from above the water. The staff also recommended earlier excursions have calmer water than afternoon. If you need it, take your motion sickness medicine before getting on the boat!

I agree with the previous reviewer that the pre-activity gathering place can get a big confusing. Parking also was a bit tight when we arrived.

We also thought there would be more discussion regarding shark habitats and conservation efforts.

With that said, seeing multiple sharks inches from you is an awesome experience.

Well worth a morning at North Shore to go cage diving with sharks This was such an amazing experience. For me, it was a once in a lifetime experience. To get so close to wild Galapagos sharks was so surreal, and the crew we had were so good, Tito explained how to enter and exit the cage and how best to view these incredible animals. The other member of the crew and please forgive I can't remember his name, was so good at explaining how the day would work, where the cage was and how long it would take to get there, and also to entertain us while one group was in the cage. He told us about the local surfing in North Shore and also about the competitions they have in the winter. It was a most enjoyable morning.

The only criticism I have is that there are a couple of dive companies that launch from the same harbour location, and there really isn't any defined waiting area that separates the companies, so you really have to listen out for your dive times, or you could miss out on your dive. But other than that, it was amazing and I would recommend North Shore shark adventures to anyone who wants to dive with sharks.
