Explore the magic of Oahu’s true hidden gem, the world’s largest sandbar, as you join us on an adventure-filled catamaran cruise in Kaneohe. Our 70-foot catamaran takes you out to experience one of the best things to do in Honolulu when you’re visiting our island, the Kaneohe sandbar.
Hop aboard our 70-foot catamaran for a truly unforgettable day offshore. We’ll depart from He’eia Kea Harbor located in Kaneohe Bay on Oahu’s windward coast and make our way out to the sandbar, primely located in middle of the bay.
An off-the-beaten-path Hawaiian island adventure, our standard Kaneohe sandbar tour offers three hours of fun in the sun surrounded by the impressive KoÊ»olau mountain range that dominates over 30 miles of Oahu’s Windward (eastern) coastline. Live musical entertainment keeps guests entertained from the Ke’alohas—expect everything from old/new Hawaiian, reggae, country, contemporary, R&B, by local musicians born and raised from the beautiful oceanfront neighborhood of Kaneohe.
A snorkeler’s dream at high tide, the Kaneohe Bay sandbar lies smack dab in the middle of the scenic bay, offering an idyllic, one-of-a-kind setting to visitors looking to experience the wonders of Oahu’s warm Pacific Ocean waters. When the tides turn, the Kaneohe sandbar turns into a milelong fine white sand beach, ideal for soaking up some much needed vitamin D or playing an invigorating game of water volleyball.

Morning Tour:
Check-in is at He’eia Kea Boat Harbor at 9:00 AM.
Please come to the very end of the pier.
Our check-in will be by the Red Umbrella next the deli store.
Afternoon Tour:
Check-in is at He’eia Kea Boat Harbor at 12:30 PM.
Please come to the very end of the pier.
Our check-in will be by the Red Umbrella next the deli store.
What's included
- Catamaran cruise
- Live musical performances by local Hawaiian musicians
- Snorkeling, including sanitized snorkel masks
- Kayak
- Water volleyball on the Kaneohe sandbar (at low-tide)
- Floating platform to soak up the sun and sunbathe right in the middle of Oahu’s famed Kaneohe Bay
- Stand-up paddleboards (limited for guests to share)

- Reef-safe sunscreen

Special requirements
- This tour is perfect for all ages. But if any guests have any preexisting health issues or taking any medications, you may not be able to participate in some activities. Please inform the KBOS office for more information.
- Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult in order to book our basic Kaneohe sandbar catamaran tour.
- Infant to 5 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at ALL TIMES during the Kaneohe Bay sandbar tour.
- All customers are required to wear life vests while participating in water activities.

Our terms and conditions
You understand and agree to the following terms:
- No alcoholic beverages or other intoxicating substances before participating in snorkeling activity.
- You are aware of the medical restrictions.
- Beach chairs, oversized floating toys, and personal paddleboards/kayaks are not allowed on the tour.
- You are not allowed to wander off on your own, you must stay within our designated area.
- Please follow all rules and safety guidelines from our Captains and Crew members.
Health conditions
f the following conditions apply, you may not be able to participate in some activities.
Please consult with us in advance as it varies depending on individual circumstances.
- Customer cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Customer has previous history of ear disease.
- Customer has previous history of lung, respiratory disease, or sinus problems.
- Customer has previous history of heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
- Customer has previous history of dizzy spells, paralysis, seizures, epilepsy, or claustrophobia.
- Customer is currently pregnant (Will need doctors clearance). – Customer is currently taking medications for any illness condition.
- Customer has had recent surgery or experienced any other major medical situations.
The above conditions are examples. If you require special assistance, please contact us in advance.

Will be charged full amount if cancellation is done within 72 of hours of tour start time.
