A must do in Oahu! This is an incredible place. The estate is very large but full of beautiful views, great movie locations, and great history. Our guide Asha was AMAZING and made sure our Jurrasic tour was full of awesome photo ops.

Lot of Fun This was a great tour! Kai was an amazing tour guide and we got to see numerous movie sites. His knowledge of the area and stories made this a memorable experience for our family. My 21-year-old daughter was able to drive and loved it! Be sure to ask Kai to set up a funny scene for your family to do a photograph, it will be a life long memory! Highly recommend this tour.

Well worth the money for all Jurassic Park fans and film fans in general, as in some locations, you get to walk on the actual se If you are a fan of Jurassic Park or any film/TV series, then this tour is definitely for you. Throughout this tour you can see leftover sets from most of the Jurassic Park films, as well as Kong Skull Island, Jumanji, lost, 51st dates, George of the jungle (for all your Brendan Fraser fans). The tour guide we had was very knowledgeable about all the locations, as well as giving us information on local culture and customs.......he also created movie magic with some toy dinosaurs!

A “Two-Handed” Experience I call this a two-handed experience because on the one hand, the scenery and views were spectacular and world class. We got amazing pictures through the tour. The tour takes you through two valleys, although the majority of the time was spent in the “movie valley” where over 80 films were made. One of our favorite experiences was getting the chance to walk through a bomb shelter/gun placement that was built into the side of the mountain after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The pictures that you can get of the ocean and surrounding environment at this spot are amazing (so were the strong trade winds!). Since the tour takes you up, down and through the first valley, you will have plenty of time for amazing pictures. On the other hand, what kept it from being a five star experience was the tour guide. Unfortunately, it seemed he was unable to talk and drive at the same time. The result was that he would pull aside and tell us his stories. The other problem was that he would repeat himself multiple times. It was like he thought we were all hard of hearing and senile and needed to have the story repeated. The result was that the tour was slow moving and bordered on tedious. I felt sorry for the two families with young children. It is pretty hard to ask a young child to sit and listen to someone versus keeping the vehicle moving or stopping at the designated sites. The pace was slow moving enough that the vehicle that started 20 minutes after us had caught us within the first hour of the tour, got tired of waiting on us, and passed us after a couple of stops.Yes, that was an annoying part of the experience but not enough to take away from the fabulous views and scenery. My advice is simply that if you get the male tour guide in his 50’s from Texas, when he asks if anyone has a deadline (like another tour, etc.) and you want the tour to end in the scheduled 2.5 hours rather than 3 hours, tell him you need to be done within the 2.5 hour time slot. Maybe that will ensure he moves things along. Of course, if you love a story teller and don’t mind having the story told to you multiple times, then sit back and enjoy the scenery, views and stories!

Not so great My boyfriend and I were so excited to go on the Jurassic Adventure Tour while visiting Hawaii. Our guide, Garrett, was great! Very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves his job. We had several complaints after the tour though. First, there was nothing in the description about there not being any use of toilets during the 3 hour tour. Had we known that, we wouldn’t have done this tour. In our opinion, there should’ve been porta potties or something at the halfway point. Next, there were 3 little kids on our tour who just couldn’t hang. Maybe consider a 10 years and up age limit or something like that. The crying and whining was a lot. And lastly, we were told to use our imaginations quite a bit but it would’ve been nice to have a tv or something built in to the truck that allowed us to view the scenes from the movie, instead of the barely visible from our seats iPad. We’ve seen the movies but don’t have them memorized.

Unique Oahu experience! This tour was one-of-a-kind. We saw different parts of the ranch that were used for movies like Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, and Skull Island, among many others. The mountains were very beautiful, and we learned about the legend of Mokoli’i, thanks to our tour guide. Our tour guide also helped take nice photos of our family. I would definitely recommend this tour when visiting Oahu.

One of the Best Tours we have ever done No joke, this is by far one of the best tours we have ever been on. This was a birthday present for my husband because he is a huge Jurassic Park fan and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Numia, was excellent and basically gave us two tours for the price of one with his knowledge of Hawaiian history/culture and other movies that were filmed there. The views were so great, even though we had less than ideal weather we were greeted with gorgeous waterfalls and cascades due to the rain! We learned and saw so much and it was so fun. Their gift shop is also great and they have lots of parking available. Even though it was a busy day, we felt like we had a special private tour. I cannot stress enough that if you go to Oahu, you must book a tour with Kualoa Ranch! We will be back!

Underwhelming and overpriced A bit underwhelming and overpriced. Went on a rainy day and they do not provide any ponchos but you can purchase one at their gift shop. They mentioned ponchos cannot be worn on the horse rides because it scares the horses. The vehicle went at an extremely slow pace. Although the valley is beautiful it felt like most of what we saw was the same scenery just from different angles. The highlight was the last stop which was the Jurassic world gate at the other valley.

Gorgeous views of Hawaii There are several different tours offered at the ranch and we booked the Jurassic Adventure Tour because it seemed the best fit for our family as we definitely did not want to be on the big bus. First the Ranch is gorgeous and easy to get to from our hotel on the other side of the island. Although it was fairly expensive, I understand now why. There is a lot of expense with all of the upkeep required not only with the tour equipment, employee salaries etc. but also maintaining the infrastructure of the ranch. The tour lasted 2 1/2 hours with plenty of stops to take pictures and see filming locations of many movies we had seen. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun and did a great job talking not only about the movies but the ranch itself. Definitely was a highlight of our trip to Hawaii.
