Discover the Magic of Humpback Whale Watching in Oahu

Dive into an unforgettable adventure as you witness the awe-inspiring humpback whales in their natural playground off the coast of Oahu. Each winter, from mid-December to March, these magnificent giants migrate thousands of miles to the warm, serene waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands. Their purpose? To mate, give birth, and nurture their young in a protected paradise.

Measuring up to 45 feet in length and weighing a staggering 35 tons, humpback whales are a marvel to behold. But their size isn’t the only thing that will leave you amazed. Male humpbacks create enchanting and intricate songs during mating season—an underwater symphony unlike anything you’ve heard before. Imagine listening to their melodies while watching them breach the water’s surface, or seeing their massive tails and pectoral fins slap the waves in dramatic displays.

The crystal-clear Hawaiian waters offer an exceptional view of these gentle giants as they leap, glide, and bond with their young. Their playful and acrobatic behavior is mesmerizing to witness, making this experience much more than just a tour—it’s an intimate encounter with some of nature’s most extraordinary creatures.

Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, an adventure seeker, or simply looking to soak in the beauty of Oahu, this is your chance to create a memory that will last a lifetime. Join us for a front-row seat to one of Earth’s greatest spectacles and feel the wonder of humpback whale watching in one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.

Fun trip Great trip out with a very knowledgeable and friendly crew. Weren't especially lucky with dolphin sightings apart from a pod of spinners just after we left, but the views from the boat and the snorkeling were fun. Plenty of reef fish and some turtles. Nice lunch too - very much recommend the trip

Do this! I cannot recommend this excursion highly enough! Expert guide and captain, so professional and they made it fun. They are also highly respectful of the animals, making sure it would be safe for them and us to interact. We were surrounded by spotted dolphins (even babies!) and then we got in the water with them. Worth every penny and I would do it daily if I could!

A 3.763 Experience 1: The cost of the tour, while shocking to some, was in line with similar water tours in Hawai'i. So no complaints about that.2: The snorkel equipment they provided was fine. It definitely wasn't top of the line, but it was good. Again, no complaint.3: It's a small boat on a very big ocean. Swells and waves you don't notice on your cruise ship take on a different level of severity when you're on a boat that's the size of a large bathtub toy. The day was nice and the ocean was relatively calm, but our bodies and stomachs were tossed around on those "calm" waves. I enjoyed it, but my wife started to become (slightly) nauseous. This is not a complaint - - simply a warning. If your spouse gets seasick flushing the toilet, don't do this tour.4: The all-girl crew was fantastic. If I were to rate this tour based on them alone, it would have been five stars. They deserved every tip given to them.5: The meal on the boat was something I wouldn't feed the fish with. If I would have, the Hawai'i Fish and Game would have placed me in handcuffs. I ordered a PP&J on white bread because I knew it was simple to make and shouldn't be hard for the "chefs" to put together. Unfortunately, the bread was purchased when Obama was still in office. It was so dry I needed several swallows of soda to get it past my esophagus. I quietly wrapped the remaining sandwich up, and decided to try the little bag of chips that were in the bag. I wish I hadn't. The company needs to check the "Good until" date on these items. If the box has a date of 2020 or earlier, toss the box.I've been on many of these types of tours, so I don't have high expectations on the food given to us. But this tour went from the usual "Hm, not bad but not great" to "OMG! What the heck did I just put in my mouth?!"6: The first snorkel site was in Turtle Canyon (or something like that). Yeah, saw a couple turtles swimming way below us. Ho-hum. No big deal. There are many better Turtle Canyons (or bays) throughout the islands. I guess I expected a little more. Not a big disappointment, but noting to let the people at home know about either.7: As we traveled out to see the dolphins it was fun to see all the spinners. When we got to where we could get in the ocean, we saw several dolphins. But they weren't interested in us, and were afraid we would offer them a PP&J. So our entire encounter with the dolphins lasted only a few seconds. No real complaints here. We're dealing with wildlife, and they have they own agenda.Putting everything together, I'm giving them 3 stars. I wish I could give them 3.763, but TripAdvisor doesn't allow that.
