On this adventurous Maui day trip from Oahu, you’ll wake up early for a hotel pickup and transfer to Honolulu Airport, before flying for 30 minutes to Maui and the start of your drive out towards Hana. This part of Maui is famous for its waterfalls and dense forests of bamboo, and be sure to bring along your bathing suit since one of the stops is the chance to swim at the idyllic Pools of Ohe’o.

For those on the Hawaiian Airline option, a tasty no-host luncheon stop is provided for the chance to relax and refuel, and if weather permits, you’ll also make stops at the Keanae Lookout and the North Shore town of Paia. The tour was everything I could have expected!! Sales was fun and entertaining during our tour! He was very knowledgeable about Hana and the island of Maui. The turns are very curvy but felt very comfortable with Salesi behind the wheel. Thank you for a wonderful day, and our final surprise stop!

well-organized and timely journey, with convenient pick-up from most hotels/resorts. Polynesian Adventure Tours offers a well-organized and timely journey, with convenient pick-up from most hotels/resorts. Our guide, Salesi, was both friendly and entertaining, adding a personal touch to the experience. The drive to Hana is challenging, requiring significant expertise due to its numerous curves and narrow paths, which Salesi handled adeptly. While the time allotted at each stop could be longer, this is understandable given the need to maintain the tour schedule for a large group. The selection of a restaurant for lunch was excellent, offering delicious banana bread and other options. However, the price point feels a bit high considering the tour is predominantly driving, with limited time spent at each stop. Overall, it's a good tour for those looking to explore the area with knowledgeable guidance, but improvements could be made in balancing time at attractions with the cost of the tour.
