Steps to Take For Hawaii Travel in 2021
Register with the Hawaii Safe Travels
State of Hawaii New Safe Travel's online system is currently required in 2021 for all travelers travelling to Hawaii from out of state. You'll want to register online to avoid Hawaii's mandatory 10-Day Self Quarantine. (Register Here)
Take a Pre-Travel COVID-19 Test
If you're not vaccinated then you'll be required to take a pre-travel Covid-10 NAAT from one of Hawaii's Trusted Testing/Travel Partner (View Here) within the 72 hour allotted time-frame before departing on the last leg of your trip.
In-Flight
24 Hours before your departure to Hawaii please answer the health questionnaire, assigned on your Safe Travels account.
During your flight and departure, travelers must follow the guidance of the assigned flight carrier regarding social distancing, requirement of mask, etc.
Hawaii Arrival
All inbound Hawaii travelers are required to take a temperature check after landing. The temperature checks will be performed via thermal screening. Only elevated temperatures of over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will be required to conduct additional health assessment(s).
